My Story At five years of age my mother asked me, “what do you want to be son?” My reply was always the same. “I wanna be on TV!” So she took me to the city of Philadelphia where I trained and auditioned for several roles with Mike Lemon Casting Company. There, I got a big break casted in roles for commercials, magazines, and various shows and I was utterly enchanted by the world of entertainment.
I then got into a movie on Cinemax, print work with Ronald McDonald, Macy's, Boscov's and even started modeling professionally in youth fashion. I Went to BarBizon Modeling School for further training in photo modeling and runway work. Then I also auditioned and got accepted into one of the world's Premiere Acting school's: Freedom Theatre, I quickly discovered the magic that happens behind the scenes. I worked with Twin B. Brown, the lead producer of the local TV station in Wilmington, DE. I hosted a show called Teen Summit which was taped live every week. While working at Channel 28, I also learned the trade of a Cameraman at 10 years of age. I transitioned entire shows to commercials and back, during live taping during those early years. Soon after, I found myself with a passion for directing. I wanted to not just act in productions, I wanted to create productions to act in. So I did, all through my film schooling, starting with Princeton University Youth Film Program. The Program was Sponsored and Staffed by NYFA (New York Film Academy) one of the leading film schools worldwide. After my experience there, I pursued independent film, while searching worldwide for the best film program. But after everything, I finally chose a two year program in Los Angeles, on the Universal Studios Lot, the Official West Coast NYFA Base! All kinds of celebrities and big-budget movies were being shot while we studied and learned hands on, even helping out on the set of The Cat & The Hat. I received a Bachelor's in Organizational Leadership and Management with a Minor in Digital Film Directing. I was finally all set to produce works of art for the public. Shot and edited for giants like ABC Television Studios and Universal Studios. My photos have been featured in galleries and magazines in the US and overseas, I've made a few short films, acted in music videos, been a hired cameraman for decades, and enjoyed creating an extremely large body of work for my photography portfolio. A few fun facts: - I've finished 3rd place, my first year of "MegaBiz Fest" and 2nd place the following year! - I have interviewed the Mayor of Wilmington, Delaware on several occasions for select documentaries including "Failon" 2010. - I've taped the first arrival of "Safe Surrender" to the state of Delaware for the U.S. Marshal's office and the U.S. attorney general. I gained insight and interviews from Lt. Gov. Matt Denn, Councilman Potter, and other great Wilmingtonians. I produced a short documentary film on the NAACP Legend, President Keith. R Booker in 2016 & I started traveling to film festivals and winning! You can view “Dichotomy Brewing: A Keith R. Booker Story” (Now on Amazon Prime, Check it out on the "Work" Page) While on a Military Base in the EU, I travelled everywhere and took stock photos that are now For Sale on Adobe Stock. & I made music like “Twerk-ish by B.K. Will”, “Lay It Down by Just B” both on all platforms. I recently signed with Intellect Pictures. & am currently running a studio in Richmond VA. Taking new bookings via appointment only.
